i have a problem which lasts for month now.. everytime (daily) when i stream my stream laggs badly for most of my viewers, the problem can be solved sometimes when my viewers refresh my stream several times.
other Streams arent lagging, even when looking 2 or more at the same time, mostly i have the only stream which laggs a lot which makes watching my stream no fun and keeps viewers leaving my channel.
i use OBS which has a very good setup (as a friend of mine uses the same settings with the same hardware and ISP setup without lagging) also i tested it on another streaming platform which caused no laggs aswell.
i have NO framedrops in OBS.
some Data from my PC and OBS,
- Intel i7 2600K (maximum 60% when streaming + Gaming)
- 8GB Ram
- Asus 660GTX
- Windows 7, 64 Bit, Home Premium
- Resolution 720p
- Upload ISP 6k, set to 4k
- Puffer set to 4k
- CBR / CBR Padding - ON
- Server Frankfurt (i am from Berlin, Germany)
- Process Priority - Highest
- x264CPU - veryfast
- KeyFrame Intervall 2 Seconds (as requested by Twitch.tv)
- CFR - ON
When i refresh my dashboard while Streaming it also shows me that my settings are "Excellent" in the selftest provided by twitch.
i also tried many MANY different settings and all kind of things to exclude laggs from my side... so my last chance is that the twitch support helps me out, and maybe has a possibility to help my viewers out.
