Recently started streaming on Twitch and hit the wall with this stuttering/lag broadcast problem. My PC aint problem here (i7 4970K/8GB ram/SSD/etc) and OBS for streaming (720p/30fps/2000 bitrate). My internet speed is 40/10. On internet speed measuring sites (3 or 4 of them) my worst upload was 8mbps in rush hour. Obviously problem not here. Im in Croatia, EU, so I choose every EU server in OBS, but that didnt help much, also I try with 1 US server and same thing again.
Stream just isn't smooth and fluid, its mission impossible, stuttering, buffering every 20-50 sec for 1-3 sec. (0 dropped frames in OBS ??? but still lags) Don't know is this because of my upstream or because of my viewers player/pc/whatevva problem. I setup LIVE event on "YouTube" and guess what, all worked like charm, even with 2500 bitrate and 60FPS. In 60 minutes not a single buffer problem or screen freezing . So I do one more test on HITBOXTV, create acc over there and test it with 2500 bitrate on 30FPS, 720P. My friend watched on my request and all worked well, like butter, 60 min smooth and easy. So this is Twitch and only Twitch problem. Non partners acc cant upstream smooth, at least 50% of them. You must become a twitch partner to get better bandwidth, and that is mission impossible 2, cause you cant keep your viewers /followers in your channel because of buffering issue..
Dont know else what to do, I stuck, as new streamer I have to go elsewhere. HitboxTV or other streaming sites are only solution for me at this point..
