For quite a while now very small streams ( viewer count blow 15) just don't load right for me. Either they won't load at all. Or keep buffering and stutter and crash several times. Rarely will they work properly.
The streamer isn't the issue as this occurs across multiple streamers that only have low current viewer base in common.
Other people watching them don't seem to have this issue and even stranger if the viewer count goes up the stream will suddenly behave normally.
That means it will load almost instantly, not buffer and play fine. I observed this multiple times for roughly a month now. It is pretty obvious when a low number streamer gets raided and suddenly I am able to watch him. I don't have the Avast extension installed. Very big streams have no issues at all. Small stream ( 20-100) are also perfectly fine.
As a fan of speedruns. This is very very annoying as it means I can't use the site for half of the time when I want to watch someone.
