This is still going after several months and still no answer.
Problems begin around 7pm Australian EST and get worse as the night progresses. By around 9pm and onwards streams become unwatchable with buffering occurring every couple of seconds (I'm not even exaggerating, trying to watch MANvsGAME but it is impossible). Not an issue on my end (100/40 FTTP) and can stream multiple 1080p60fps YouTube videos simultaneously with no issue.
Amazon bought you and you still can't fix your servers ffs. I've lost all respect for Twitch and am losing the same in Amazon. Terrible service.
