Until today, my account was a Twitch.tv account. I have used it to follow twitch channels, I have used it to subscribe to twitch channels, I have used it to access the twitch settings page. I visit http://www.twitch.tv/directory/following several times a day. I have used twitch extensively in the last couple years, and not once have I seen the words "justin.tv" or any indication that my account was not a full-fledged twitch account.
Today, that suddenly changed. Attempting to look at http://www.twitch.tv/directory/following instructs me to log in, at which point I'm redirected to the front page. Attempting to look at my settings page or channel, redirects me to justin.tv.
I've seen the stock response, that we were supposed to request a switch before October 31, 2013. I don't think that applies to this situation. My account did not require switching. If my account was listed in your database as a justin.tv account, it was not communicated to me in any way. I had full twitch.tv functionality. I think this is a bug of some kind.
If I'm forced to create a new account, I'll lose my list of followed channels, and my username. I don't want this to happen. I've subscribed to twitch channels in the past, and will do so in the future.
