i have jtv and twitch tv accounts. using xsplit to cast. username and password signs me onto twitch. i cannot use the passcode option to sign on, because when i click to get my password, an error appears at top of screen saying that my passcode is unavailable. so, i sign on with username and password. start my casts, everything is fine.
well, not really. if you directly type in my name in url, you get to my cast. you can then watch it, watch previous videos. my casting is fine, it's just that my channel doesn't show up to anyone who may be browsing through the channels by game or just all games. while my cast is going on, no one knows that it exists. i see this as a problem.
relatedly, if you type in my name in url after twitch, it redirects to justin. under my justin settings, i cannot change my broadcast category to gaming. when i do, a message bar appears telling me to sign up for twitch. thanks, already did that. so, the only place my cast shows up is under whatever random category i choose. no one will find my cast unless they type in the url directly.
so, to summarize: my cast works fine. videos look good, casts runs well. but no one can find it unless they type it in url. i do not show up in searches, browsing, etc. in twitch. twitch redirects to justin. please assist. thank you.
