Loading video

Hi, I had a lot of complaints about my stream lagging/cutting off today, i decided to investigate a bit...... As far as i can see; streamers who are partner dont have this problem streamers who are not partner have a lot of lag/cutting off/loading video i did try some other settings like upping the bandwidth and buffer in OBS, changed servers from amsterdam to paris to new york, nothing changed. (it started lagging like approximately 4-5 hours before this post, and i did not change settings before that....also i was lagfree before so i think it must be twitch serverside, OBS is not dropping frames, cpu usage is at about 50% as is ram usage, bandwith should not be the problem imo, i have 3 Mb/s up) I think it is that the bandwidth available at the twitch servers is getting used by all the partners and then the "not-partners" don't get the bandwidth, because it is already used by the partners...... I think my findings are correct, and i know a lot of other streamers also just killed their stream because of all the problems...... the "non-partners" with problems are at least these streamers, 1 only checked until i had 5, but i only needed to look at 5 to get to this number......; /hensiepensie (me) /jonny2192 /awace /frinztheprince /just2nathing streams of partners working fine, again i will check 5, i actually found a partner with lag/loading video too; /jcarverpoker /bigdogpckt55 /Komododragonjesus /shirox1980 /jonathanlittle this partner actually had lag too! i do not understand this now anymore? /jpatche Maybe you are giving more bandwidth to the streams with a lot of viewers, thats definitely also a possibility..... Also i was looking for a chat/forum so we could discuss issues like these, but the best thing i could find is here...... I do think you should make statements about this in your announcements, because a lot of people are having this problems, and i am pretty sure they are also looking for answers! It took me about 90 minutes of my time to figure this out so far, and if i would have just seen a statement like, were getting DDOS'ed or something it would be okay, but now i have to investigate and write this text which i dont wanna do, but i need to do because i want to be an entertaining streamer with a proper setup....i am definetly not happy that stuff like this is not announced here on help.twitch.tv :(
