Audio static when watching streams in open tabs.

I am using firefox. All of my streams have unbearable static when I am watching them in the open tab. They do the same thing when the streams are open in another window. There is 0 static when the video is in the current window but in a background tab, Has anyone experienced this/know how to fix it? I have tried to use the search but have not seen any results.
