Is the ranking system for the most viewed videos broken, or am I alone in seeing this?
When I load twitch.tv/directory/videos/week/ and twitch.tv/directory/videos/month/ I see the videos ranked by total views (of all time) rather than most views this week/month.
It seems to me like the algorithm is broken so that it assumes all the views have happened in the last week (which would explain why the weekly and monthly lists are identical), but that is just a guess.
This means that most videos are more than a few months old, and I noticed because most of the top video thumbnails show streamers showing a questionable amount of cleavage (which I thought was ironic given the recent changes to the ToS).
I viewed these pages using Chrome on "Incognito" mode and this issue still seems to be present since I first noticed it a week ago (29th October - 4th November). I sent Twitch a bug report but got no reply :( so I resent it and posted here as well.
So is anyone else having this issue or just me?
