So this might be quite a long post but please help me out.
So I've been streaming for some time on twitch. Quite long I'd say my self.
I won't go heavily into detail about the streaming itself but more about the botting issues i've been experiencing.
First time I got botted was when I was playing Cat Lady source here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJg4W9p3xvw
Someone botted me atleast 8000 extra viewers on stream which eventually turned out to be a "succes" for someone and obviously my self too because I get a lot of media exposure out of it. I even mention several times through out the stream that people should check out other streamers because well going from 10+ viewers to 10.000 is quite a lot..
After that scene i eventually kept streaming and I wasnt being botted for about 1-3 months.
Inbetween i get a few bots here and there i reach 100+ viewers again for no reason and I recieve messages the day after about getting discounts on viewbotting and all these so called good deals. They claim to support 1200 other livestreamers and claim that they are popular which makes me think that they are a huge scam because I doubt any succesful livestreamer would do this such as sodapoppin.
Anyways till this day and 1 week after I've been botted heavily by 2 other websites I think. I know this because I reach 500+ viewers each time they do it and the day after I get a message about them.
So my main issue is here and I think this could go wrong and I would eventually be banned from twitch.
I'm actually getting something out of this without paying for any sorts of botting. I'm getting something out of this which makes it reasonable for twitch to ban me for getting these unpaid bots. My issue is if enough people report me for botting I'll be banned and I don't want to be banned on twitch!
I do report to twitch but lately I've not been bothering because it happens over and over and over again.
What do I do in these situations? They are botting me more and more.
What do I do? Stop streaming? Tweet Twitch? Like where are the solution for this problem. I'll eventually get banned if nothing happens.
Several others I know who are streaming just tell me "let it go" (No not a frozen reference) and I'm not sure if that is such a good idea.
