About a couple weeks ago I started streaming on Twitch after upgrading my bandwidth through my ISP. The first week I was able to stream around 2000 kbps and had a somewhat decent quality stream. But since that week I have been lucky to get over the minimum of 800 kpbs of recommended upload. I have a 50/5 download/upload through my ISP and speedtest, etc shows that I average the 5 Mbps upload.
Worked with ISP, reset router and modem, wired directly to modem, etc. and everything on my end is fine. Trace Route to live.twitch.tv times out and we feel that it is on the Tiwtch Server side that is causing such a low upload recommendation.
Anyway, I live in the Northeast, a buddy lives in the south and he can get 2500 kbps recommended. Just wanted to know if others were having the same issue and/or they were able to fix the issue. Sorry for the long post but somewhat frustrated.
