As the subject says, is Twitch limiting broadcast FPS?
I've been streaming for almost 2 years now and Twitch never limited my stream fps.
Just today, I've started streaming again and I've noticed that even though OBS is pushing 60fps easy (zero dropped frames), and the twitch broadcaster page says 'Excellent', my stream has noticeable decreased frame-rate. Almost looks sub 20fps.
I have a local recording going on at the same time, reviewing the local recording shows butter smooth gameplay. My CPU usage is under 60% the entire time. My game is not exhibiting ANY delays. GPU is not being over worked either.
I do a carbon copy of ALL my settings and stream to my justin.tv account and Wham! The stream is beautiful. Butter smooth 60fps, even through lots of action and movement.
Do I have to be a partner just for them to not do this?
I am sitting on a Verizon fiber connection of 85/45, there is no way my hardware or my connection is a limiting reagent.
What gives?
